Reporting to the Data Management Lead, you will work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and the wider data team to deliver impactful reporting, analytics, and visualisation solutions. You will be responsible for designing and maintaining high-quality Power BI dashboards, creating analytical data models, and helping stakeholders understand business performance through clear and actionable insights.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with business stakeholders to define, review, and refine reporting requirements, KPIs, and performance metrics.
Gather, blend, cleanse, enrich, and analyse data from multiple systems, APIs, and data sources.
Deliver executive-level insights and recommendations to support strategic business decisions.
Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, semantic models, and paginated reports.
Apply best-practice BI design principles, including usability, accessibility, and performance optimisation.
Continuously enhance reporting solutions based on stakeholder feedback and evolving business needs.
Develop and maintain analytics-focused data models, including dimensional models and star schemas.
Document business rules, transformation logic, and source-to-target mappings to support reporting delivery.
Ensure data integrity, consistency, and governance across reporting environments.
Partner with Data Engineering teams to ensure datasets are optimised for reporting and analytics.
Leverage emerging AI-enabled BI capabilities, including Power BI Copilot and automated insights features.
Provide training, guidance, and support to reporting and dashboard users.
Manage multiple reporting and analytics initiatives while maintaining strong stakeholder engagement.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of reporting, analytics, and data quality capabilities.

Skills

Strong hands-on experience with Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, semantic modelling, and dashboard development.
Experience using AI-enabled business intelligence capabilities, such as Power BI Copilot or automated insights.
Strong SQL skills, with experience querying and analysing complex datasets.
Familiarity with Python for analytics, automation, or data preparation activities.
Solid understanding of analytics data modelling, including dimensional modelling and star schema design.
Experience working with source systems, APIs, and multiple data feeds.
Proven ability to design and deliver impactful dashboards and management reporting solutions.
Experience blending, cleansing, validating, and interpreting data from a variety of sources.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations.
Excellent understanding of data visualisation best practices and storytelling techniques.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
Experience partnering with business teams to define and maintain reporting requirements, KPIs, and metrics.
